I've brought a tool called Pulse Checker to Nebula Timekeeping. If there are no issues with your account, the light is green. If you're an onboarder, and employees need to set a password still, the light is yellow. If you're missing a punch, the light turns red. There's will be new colors as new alerts are added. This one almost speaks for itself. You can now track shorter bits of time right inside the app, without affecting worked time. Organize your stopwatch entries and view them back however you want. This feature is FREE to use, and I encourage you to sign up today to try it out.

Nebula Timekeeping now includes profile images! The idea is to give each account a little more personality without feeling like a social media site. Choose from a growing collection of simple, visual icons to help customize your account and make your workspace feel more familiar. It's a small feature, but it helps to make you feel more comfortable while tracking your time or managing others with Nebula Timekeeping.

I added a new visual guide that walks users through creating a free Nebula Core account step by step. The flyer shows where to start, how to create a username, and what to expect before entering the app.
This should make the account creation process feel clearer, less intimidating, and easier to follow for anyone exploring Nebula Timekeeping for the first time. It also gives new users a simple reference point before they begin creating their account.

I added reCAPTCHA protection to the Nebula Timekeeping account creation flow to help keep the site safer from bots, spam, and automated abuse. This adds an extra layer of protection behind the scenes while keeping the sign-up process simple for real users.
Nebula Timekeeping is ready for real account creation, and this helps make sure users just like you don’t have to share the service with fake accounts. It also helps protect the integrity of the user base as more people begin creating accounts and exploring the app.

Nebula Timekeeping now has an official Facebook page! I created the page as another place to share updates, progress, and announcements as Nebula Timekeeping continues to grow. Since the website just recently launched, I want people to have an easy way to follow along, see what’s new, and stay connected as more features and improvements are added.

There is a lot going on in Nebula Timekeeping, and I felt like the "Did You Know" facts would help new users discover features they haven't tried yet, and improve the overall experience for first time users. There is a switch to turn the facts off if you find them distracting, or no longer need them because you've mastered the app. ;-)

Nebula Timekeeping is being developed using mostly cloud computing services. I used to test locally only, until I decided to bite the bullet and move the website itself entirely to the cloud. The ease and speed at which I can hammer out minor bug fixes is incredible. I can even do 75% of my work from my cell phone if I want (convenient if I'm ever on-the-go). So prepare for exciting new features to try out in the near future, and make sure to come back daily to check for updates.
